According to Kherson mayor, Vladimir Saldov, for the time being this is the best proposal. «This problem can not be solved quickly, but this is one of the best variants for the dwellers of this house. We should do everything possible to provide satisfactory housing conditions for them. Every day I receive dwellers, who ask to move them out, because the house is in catastrophic condition. Though there is a state program of phased moving the dwellers out of damaging houses, but city did not get funds from the state budget for this purpose. As of prices for now, it is necessary to have more that 5.5 mln. UAH in order to buy 27 apartments on the secondary market. City’s budget can not allocate this money” – answered the mayor.
The representative of “Evrotek” company assured that the company undertakes to pay all the expenses, and it will agree the details with every single dweller. The company will take into account their wishes concerning place of residence (in reasonable limits). The flats which will be bought will not be less in area than those ones they live in.
This free land will be assigned to close corporation “Evrotek” for construction on the rights of long leasing. We are planning to build a supermarket with 1300 square meters in area. The project provides for landscape gardening of the vicinity area, construction of playgrounds. The terms of the project, payback and cost of the whole project are not reported. City’s authorities are ready to consider other proposals. According to law, transfer into leasing of a lot shall be processed in auction. “Evrotek” still does not have competitors in this project.
As A. Shkuro said, public company “Evrotek” yas worked in the market since 1995. At the beginning the company traded with diesel fuel, grains and sunflower. It is one year that the company started the project of creation of a retailing network. “Evrotek” intends to cover 30 cities in Ukraine with its network. The supermarkets in Kerch, Kharkov and Krivoy Rog are already being built. The terms of the project in Kherson are trade secret. The company plans to compete with other retailing networks due to larger sale volumes and moderate prices.
Reference: in 2003-2005, dwellers of 56 flats were of the house No. 17, Stroiteli av. were moved out. For these purposes 1 mln. 97.1 thousand UAH were allocated from the city’s budget and 3 mln. And 405 thousand were allocated from the state budget. According to “State program of phased move-out of dwellers from conducive to accident buildings of flexible construction system in Kherson for the period of 2003-2009», dwellers of 22 houses shall be moved out. The total area is 73951 square meters.
