THE PROBLEM OF THE HOUSE ON BUILDER’S AVENUE, 17 IN KHERSON CAN BE SOLVED!!

In 2003-2005 funds from state and city budgets were allocated for moving out of one house in Kherson on Builder’s Avenue, 17. A number of apartments were bought on the secondary market, but for the final moving the residents out the damaging house it is necessary to buy 27 apartments more.

In the meantime the funding was cut and people stayed to live in the half-damaged house. Then housing prices sharply rose and buying of apartments became even more problematic. The people seemed were left face to face with the insoluble problem without any help. Technical conditions of the house were characterized as extremely unsatisfactory - дома характеризовалось как крайне неудовлетворительное – foundation subsidence is 170-340 mm, the danger of collapse is very significant.

But on August 30 at the Kherson executive committee a press-conference was held, during which the mayor of the city Vladimir Saldov announced, that the problem of the house on Builder’s Avenue, 17 can be solved. And quickly and effectively.

The Company “Evrotek” gave the people a helping hand. Director of the “Evrotek” Strategic Marketing Department Alisa Shkuro voiced at the press-conference the Company’s wish to help the authorities in solving of this problem.

One of the Company’s principles was stressed in the press-release: «The responsibility of modern business becomes more clear in the fact, that it should be developed with a maximum glance on the neighbor people’s interests, and namely it should be developed for them. Citizens’ respect and trust is the fundamental principle of the performance of the Company “Evrotek”.

The proposition of the Company “Evrotek” is as follows: the company buys at its own expense apartments for the residents of the house, and with the concurrence of each of them. And at the place of the damaged house the company plans to erect a modern trade center of the European level.  For the aim of developing of supermarket network in Ukraine “Evrotek” uses the best modern technologies in the spheres of construction and design, so that the future store would be a harmonious supplement to the city face and would become the place, where people could comfortably spend their time. The project includes: planting at the territory near the store, provision of the playground and other measures of beautification in Shumenskiy District of Kherson.

According to Alisa Shkuro the store would satisfy the European quality standards, have first-class service, as well as wide range of food stock at moderate prices. The project of the store in Kherson is not the only one.

One would like to believe that for the inhabitants of the long-suffering house at last would face happy-end.
